I’m lesbian, and in a relationship I would consider myself the less dominate one. Not just because I indulge in the femme things like makeup and dresses, but because I enjoy being slightly more submissive. I’m attracted to all women, it doesn’t matter if you’re femme or masculine. A women is a women regardless of how they dress or act, so what’s the point in perpetuating some bullshit double standard? I consider myself more femme then not, but that doesn’t mean I can’t spit or curse. It also means that if you consider yourself more masculine, you can still wear dresses or makeup. You can perpetuate a double standard all you want, but don’t force your opinion on me. Just because I dress one way, doesn’t mean I need to act one way. I don’t take double standards from men, and I’m sure as hell not taking it from any of you.
